Copyright Page Generator
Fill in your title and author name, get a publish-ready copyright page back — the boilerplate every KDP book needs on page one.
This is a widely used template, not legal advice. If your book touches health, finance, law or children's safety, have someone qualified read it before you publish.
- Title page (with your name set properly)
- Dedication
- Table of contents
- About the author

Every page above drops into your export automatically — no extra generation, no AI credits, on any plan.

The four things Amazon expects
A rights notice ("all rights reserved"), the copyright symbol with your name and year, a line about how the work may — or may not — be reproduced, and for fiction, a disclaimer that names and events are invented. Miss the disclaimer on a novel with real-sounding characters and readers occasionally take it literally.
What it isn't
You don't need to register anything for this page to be valid — copyright exists the moment you write the book, in every country on this list. The page is a notice, not a registration; it just tells a reader what they're allowed to do with your words.
Questions authors actually ask
Do I need an ISBN for this page?
No — KDP assigns a free ISBN automatically if you don't provide your own. This page works without one; add it later if you buy your own ISBN.
Can I use this for a print book, not just ebook?
Yes — the wording is the same for both. Paperback and hardcover interiors just place the copyright page as its own page near the front, after the title page.
Why does the wording change by country?
Each country's copyright act has its own name and year — the UK's is the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, for example. Citing the right one is a small detail readers rarely notice, but it's the kind of thing that reads as amateur when it's wrong.
